Sending Flowers Out Of State
If you’re hoping to send flowers to a recipient in another state but want to emulate the Celadon Floral style, follow these tips-
Shown: Celadon Floral arrangement, $125
Search Google for the highest rated florist in the recipient’s town (or within 15 miles).Call the florist directly.Have the recipient’s address, phone number(s) and card message prepared.Specify a “slightly loose, gardeny design with Dutch flowers or the best seasonal imported or locally grown flowers available”.Request that the florist not use “babies breath, leather leaf, liatris, statice or other inexpensive filler flowers”.Request 3-4 varieties of the same flower (less, for a cleaner and more sophisticated arrangement).Ask for a simple clear glass or opaque ceramic vase (cylinder or cube)-nothing ornate or novelty.Higher end shops will have a minimum, so have a have a budget of at least $125+ delivery and tax.Understand that any special requests of certain flowers could cause a delay. Be flexible in the delivery date or ask the florist to use the freshest flowers available that fit the above criteria.
