My Favorite Maine Grown Flowers From 2025
Our local flower season is coming to a close. I just picked up my last buckets of wholesale flowers from the Maine Flower Collective at Crystal Spring Farm in Brunswick.
Every Wednesday morning at 9am sharp since late April, I would head over at the MFC to pick up the order I placed the week before. It’s late October now, and I’ll admit, I’m tired. Flower farmers are tired, the MFC staff are tired. We had another great season- despite some bumps along the way (a month of rain followed by weeks of drought) but we made it work. I relied on my favorite Maine flower farmers, but also discovered some new farmers who grew some really great flowers.
Below are some highlights from our 2025 growing season. Most flowers came from the Maine Flower Collective as well as my own garden, Pease Hill Farm, Falmouthtown Flower Co., On The Mountain Farm and Grounded Seed Flower Farm (which are independent from the MFC). 
From now on, I’ll be shifting back to importing flowers from my trusted wholesalers and the Dutch flower market and coming soon…Amaryllis, Tulips and other festive flower varieties just in time for the Holidays.
